The project Promoting Childhood was a partnership between the NGO World Vision and the Telefonica Foundation to remove children from child labor.
Its performance was through four areas: raising awareness of people to the subject, direct action with children and adolescents, the economic inclusion of families and the monitoring of public policies and political articulation.
The results were the most positive possible. From the 6,180 children and adolescents who took part in the project over the four-year duration of it, 4,820 were withdrawn from child labor.
